At MARIO Education™, we embrace our responsibility towards the planet and prioritize minimizing our environmental impact. We are dedicated to promoting global sustainability in all its dimensions – environmental, social, and economic. Through sustainable practices, resource conservation, and community initiatives, we actively work together towards reducing our carbon footprint. We collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations to drive positive change and inspire others to adopt sustainable practices.
Reduce Carbon Footprint
We support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Climate Agreement. We constantly seek to reduce our own individual carbon footprint and that of MARIO Education as a whole.
Limit Our Travel
We recognize that greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions represent a significant part of our environmental footprint. As a result, we actively seek to limit our travel and conduct as much business as possible online.
How We Conserve Resources
Fully online
MARIO Education operates entirely online as our employees span the globe. Our professional development courses are all offered online, and MARIO consultants only travel when it is not possible to deliver at least the same high-quality provision virtually.
Digital resources
Our documentation is predominantly digital, apart from some occasional conference flyers and resources that are printed on recycled paper or card when appropriate.
Reduce, reuse, recycle
We encourage all employees and stakeholders to reduce waste and consumption, reuse products wherever possible, and recycle when appropriate.
Sustainability Strategy
We are committed to working with suppliers and stakeholders who share our commitment to sustainability. The MARIO Education board oversees our overall sustainability strategy and holds us to account, ensuring we remain true to this statement and fulfill our pledge to be an ethical and sustainable organization.
